- 16.05.2008 - The 'Gigapan' project is developed and supported by the Carnegie Mellon University, Google and NASA. It offers a forum for pictures of extremly high resolution - keyword Gigapixel = 1 billion pixel. Once more here in the area of Lippe the Hermann Monument is a good place to start working on this promising project.
We present: The world's largest picture of the Hermanndenkmal (.. most likely, as far as we know..).
- 16.05.2008 - The 'Naturpark Teutoburger Wald' wins the competition "Naturpark.NRW.2009" of the the land North Rhine-Westphalia. We congratulate - and we are a little bit proud as well ... ; -)

- 2007-10-10 - I participated in the WorldWidePanorama Projekt of the Geography Computing Facility, University of Berkeley and took a picture of "Elvis the splashdiver". He set a new world record in "jumping a canon ball" from a height of 27 meters. .. Don't try this at home!
- 2007-09-10 – Squaring the head .. a cubical installation of a sherical panoramic image taken inside the head of the Hermann monument in Detmold, Germany. It's a cube of 5 meters height and a printed surface of 125 square meters – maybe the largest cubical panorama that has been set up so far.
The project was supported by the District of Lippe and Lippe Tourismus und Marketing AG . It was realized together with von Hagen Design . We have set up a micrositefor more detailed information.
