“Meeting at long tables” ..

...under this somewhat unwieldy name, a colorful party was celebrated in the market square of Lage / Lippe in beautiful late summer weather. 

The idea behind the event: 
Anyone who wants to can bring a table, chairs, food, and drinks to the concert stage in the market square and get together with friends and family members—sampling your neighbors' food is allowed. Until last year, people were invited to the “Night of the Long Tables,” but now the party was supposed to end at 10 p.m.
