TTIP demonstration in Berlin

On October 10, 2015, thousands of people protested in Berlin against negotiations and decisions on trade agreements between the European Union and the US (Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership) and Canada (Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement).

According to various sources, between 150,000 and 250,000 people responded to the call from a total of 128 associations, societies, organizations, and parties, including the German Environmental and Nature Conservation Association, attac, Nature Friends of Germany, campact, Der Paritätische, WWF, Deutscher Kulturrat, Brot für die Welt, Oxfam, Greenpeace, Arbeitsgemeinschaft bäuerliche Landwirtschaft, and many more.
